Compassion of Lord Shiva

We cannot imitate the actions of the great souls but we can follow the principles they teach by their actions. Like we cannot drink poison like Lord Shiva did to save the asuras & the daivas but we can follow the principles of compassion for others which he is teaching by his exemplified action.
